The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
Everything in one place, including regulation, withdrawals, here pricing, more info and the bonus here terms, is at TradeTheDay.
